Police investigate officer shooting after barricade at south Las Vegas hotel

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that stemmed from a barricade at a south Las Vegas hotel Sunday evening, according to Metro police.

On Sunday around 5:05 p.m., police responded to the South Point Hotel and Casino in the 9700 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard.

Police said a person on the hotel property was refusing to comply with officers, resulting in the barricade.

Around 10:10 p.m., police said there was an officer-involved shooting at the same location. No officers have been reported injured at this time,
