PPEC donates items for the holidays

Dec. 21—PAULDING — Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative has conducted four impactful community initiatives in recent weeks, spreading warmth and support across the region during the holiday season.

Honoring Veterans on Veterans Day

On Nov. 11, PPEC held a Veterans Day Donation Drive collecting full-size toiletries for Clothes For Joes, which supports veterans in northwest Ohio and northeast Indiana.

Operation Christmas Child: Spreading Holiday Cheer Worldwide

PPEC employees donated 15 shoe boxes to Operation Christmas Child, providing Christmas gifts filled with care items and toys to children in need worldwide. Each box is filled with care and hygiene items, school supplies, water bottles, toys, and more. To learn more about this initiative, visit samaritanspurse.org.

Winter Coat Drive

A Winter Coat Drive collected 80 coats for local families, all of which were donated to schools and organizations across the area.

Employees Raise over $1,900 for Local Charities

PPEC staff raised more than $1,900 for three local charities: Ronald McDonald House Charities, Justice Animal Rescue, and others.
