Something of a reverse pursuit unfolded this weekend on the 210 Freeway in San Bernardino County after authorities broke up a fight.
Details are limited and it’s unclear exactly how the events transpired, but authorities with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department told KTLA that deputies responded to reports of a fight on Main Street in Rancho Cucamonga.
Several people were arrested after deputies arrived, though one person remained at large.
That suspect, behind the wheel of a white-colored four door sedan, was later spotted, but when deputies attempted a traffic stop, the driver failed to yield and fled westbound on the 210 Freeway.

It is unknown if an earlier PIT maneuver spun the vehicle around and the driver continued in reverse or if they somehow ended up facing the wrong direction by some other means.
Whatever the case, footage of the incident shows the deputy using his patrol cruiser to ram the sedan into the center median, jostling both vehicles and eventually bringing the sedan to a stop.
Authorities confirmed to KTLA that the suspect was then taken into custody.
No further details were provided and it’s unclear what charges the person is facing.
