Salisbury, Ocean City awake to new snow Saturday. How much is expected, plus full forecast

Five days after Winter Storm Blair dumped almost 9 inches of snow on Delmarva on Monday, closing Lower Shore public schools for the entire week, more snow arrived Saturday morning.

Not quite a blizzard this time, but still a headache as icy roads persist. Here’s all to know about Saturday’s new snowfall.

Salisbury, Ocean City area awakes to fresh coat of snow

With new snow already on the ground in the Salisbury and Ocean City area by early Saturday morning, here’s how much to expect, plus the full forecast for Saturday and Sunday.

A National Weather Center Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. for the area, with snow expected to fall until up to 10 a.m. and accumulation of 1-2 inches of new snow.

For Saturday in Salisbury, according to Accuweather, expect a high of 35 degrees and a low of 21, breezy and cold, with icy conditions. On Sunday, expect a mostly sunny day, with a high 39 degrees and a low of just 17.

In Ocean City, expect a windy and cold Saturday, with a high of 35 degrees and a low of 21. For Sunday, expect a sunny day, with a high of 38 and a low of 22.
