Nashville police are investigating a late Saturday night shooting in the Napier area that left one unidentified man dead.
The shooting happened at 11:35 p.m. near the intersection of Fain Street and Fairfield Avenue, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. The victim was riding a miniature motorbike when he was shot, police said.
The man was located on the side of Fain Street and had multiple gunshot wounds, MNPD said. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died. The office of the medical examiner will work to identify the victim using fingerprints.
