SEBASTIAN − Police are investigating the homicide of 64-year-old woman discovered Saturday night, according to a news release issued Tuesday.
Sebastian Police officers who were conducting a next-of-kin death notification just before 10 p.m. at a home in the 1000 block of Barber Street, found Patricia Rockwell-Kuhner dead inside her home, a victim of an apparent homicide, according to police spokesman Deputy Chief Timothy Wood.
As officers had attempted to contact her, they noticed “signs of blood” and found an unresponsive individual on the floor inside the house who was identified as Rockwell-Kuhner. Once officers executed a search warrant and entered Rockwell-Kuhner’s home, detectives found a second deceased person identified as “the suspect involved in the incident.”
The Sebastian Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
