Spirit Airlines adds two non-stop flights from Louisville to spring break destinations

Snow and ice have you daydreaming about warm-weather getaways?

For the 2025 spring break season, there will be two warm weather routes added to Spirit Airlines’ lineup out of Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport.

The ultra low-cost carrier is adding a new, seasonal nonstop service to Myrtle Beach and is bringing back nonstop service to Tampa. Both routes begin March 19 and will operate Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

If you have other Florida destinations in mind, the airport also has nonstop flights to cities including Destin, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Miami, Orlando, Sarasota and St. Petersburg.

Florida is traditionally the top spring break destination for those flying out of Louisville’s largest airport.

Last year, there were 36,500 scheduled departure seats between March 28-31, a 13% rise in capacity over 2023, according to the airport.
