Several businesses and churches have announced closures as an impactful winter storm moves into the Miami Valley and southern Ohio.

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital has canceled all in-person, outpatient appointments and walk-in services on Monday, Jan. 6 before 10 a.m., according to a spokesperson from the hospital.

Five Rivers MetroParks in Montgomery County will close the majority of its parks early at 4 p.m. The RiverScape MetroParks ice rink will close at 5 p.m.

Uplifted Community Church of God of Prophecy in Montgomery County will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Christ Episcopal Church- Xenia in Greene County is closed Sunday and canceled online morning prayer.

Assurance Baptist Church-Northmont in Montgomery County will have no evening activities on Sunday.

The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens will close at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
