After Friday’s round of snowfall, the Greater Cincinnati region will still have to face below-freezing temperatures in the upcoming days and week.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, a hazardous weather outlook is in effect for the region, which will stay in place at least until Friday. The combination of very cold temperatures and wind will result in “dangerously low” wind chill values.

Tuesday will also have a slight chance of snow in the afternoon, the weather service says.
How to stay warm in Cincinnati
The Greater Cincinnati Homeless Coalition announced that it had worked with Councilwoman Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney to open a warming shelter Sunday.
“The Sunday Daytime Warming Shelter will be at Christ Church Cathedral from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.,” Executive Director Josh Spring said. “One of our staff people will run it along with some volunteers. There will be free bus service from the overnight winter shelter to the warming shelter and from the library, starting at 5:30 p.m. back to the winter shelter.”

Warm up with dry layers of blankets or clothing.
