The Blue Angels are coming to Jacksonville in 2025 after all.
Jacksonville officials announced Tuesday that the Jacksonville Sea & Sky Air Show will return Oct. 25-26 to Jacksonville Beach and that the U.S. Navy Blue Angels would be a part of the show.
That contrasts with announcements made in July, when the Blue Angels’ 2025 schedule did not include Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach Mayor Christine Hoffman said the show had been canceled.
Tuesday’s announcement is short on details, noting that information about performers, parking, shuttles and road closures would come later.
“I want to thank the City of Jacksonville for working so hard with us to bring the Sea & Sky Show — along with the Blue Angels — back to Jacksonville Beach,” said Jacksonville Beach Mayor Chris Hoffman. “This is a big day for all of us. We can’t wait to show off our community, celebrate the military, and enjoy the show next year.”
The Blue Angels, founded at NAS Jacksonville in 1946, flew over Jacksonville in October, when the air show was held at the air station. The show traditionally alternates between the base and the Beaches.

The team had been scheduled to perform Oct. 25-26 at the Chennault International Air Show in Lake Charles, La. That show was canceled in September over a dispute with the venue, freeing the Blue Angels for the Jacksonville dates. The team’s website still shows the Louisiana show.
