Westampton Township has parted ways with its administrator, although the circumstances have not been disclosed.
On Monday, former Administrator Wendy Gibson confirmed to the Burlington County Times that she’s left the position she was appointed to in March 2020. Gibson also was registrar in Westampton Township since June 2022 and clerk since September 2023.
Calls to Deputy Administrator Sherrod Jones and Mayor Sandy Henley on Monday were not immediately returned.

Gibson, a resident of Tabernacle Township, didn’t give a reason for her departure. She said only that posts on Facebook about her leaving last Friday have “a lot of incorrect information.”
“I can tell you that this was the best decision for both parties,” Gibson said. “I have been fortunate to have a lot of employees from the township and the county, vendors and some residents reach out in support of me, thanking me for everything I had done, and for the great working relationship I had with them.”

Gibson was assistant town manager for Evesham Township before her appointment in Westampton Township. She replaced James Brady, who held the job for only one year.
Henley and Committeewoman Jaime Mungo were members of the township committee that unanimously voted to hire Gibson.
