The indictment, unsealed in federal court, outlines a multi-year crime spree involving drug trafficking, armed robberies, and ultimately, the tragic abduction.

The charges stem from the April kidnapping of Aguasvivas, which was captured on surveillance video and shocked the community. Investigations have since linked the suspects to a series of violent crimes, including an earlier shooting incident involving a tow truck driver.

U.S. Attorney Roger Handberg stated, “This was not a random act. The group targeted Ms. Aguasvivas for the $170,000 in drug money she was carrying.”

The investigation into this criminal network is ongoing, and authorities anticipate further arrests.
