Three people died in car crash near Kohler on Saturday, authorities say

Three people died on Saturday morning after a car crash near Kohler, according to police.

Police responded to the crash on Lower Falls Road and I-43 at 11:20 a.m., according to a press release from the Kohler Police Department.

According to police, a 35-year-old Sheboygan Falls driver left the roadway to the north, overcorrected before crossing into the path of another vehicle driven by a 77-year-old man with a 77-year-old passenger, killing them both.

Authorities say the 35-year-old man died while en route to the hospital. The crash is still under investigation and the names of the individuals were not immediately released, police say.

As of Dec. 18, three people have died in car crashes in Sheboygan County in 2024, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
