Four men were forced to flee and a village shutdown after an alleged shooting at a remote property on the NSW border.
Police allege five men were at a property in Coree in the ACT when a physical altercation broke out about 4.30pm on Saturday.
Officers allege one of the men, who was known to the others, retrieved a firearm and shot at the other men multiple times.

The four men fled the scene and were able to hide before calling police who arrived a short time later.
Police closed off nearby Uriarra Village with road blocks with roadblocks as they hunted for the alleged victims and gunman.
Anyone not returning to their homes was urged to avoid the area before the four men were rescued from the property.

Shortly after 10pm that evening, police intercepted the alleged offender riding a quadbike while trying to leave the property.
The 20-year-old has been charged with four counts of discharging a loaded firearm causing a person fear.
In a statement, officers said inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
