Two sought in Adelanto home-invasion robbery after armed intruders force way in

Deputies are looking for two men accused of an armed home-invasion robbery at an Adelanto apartment on Monday morning, authorities said.

The crime took place shortly before 10:30 a.m. in the 11200 block of Chamberlaine Way, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The residents answered a knock at their door and were confronted by two suspects, who asked about a person the victims did not know.

“The suspects then forced their way into the residence and one of the suspects brandished a handgun,” the sheriff’s department said in a written statement.

The alleged robber stole items including a PlayStation 5, jewelry and other property.

No injuries were reported.

They were described as two Black men, both about 21 years old and wearing dark clothing, officials said. They were last seen driving away in a newer-model, black Honda Civic with tinted windows.
