When celebrating between Christmas and New Year’s Day this year in Colorado, consider this Uber discount to save a little cash and keep roads safer for everyone.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving Colorado and Uber are partnering to give $7 ride credits, while supplies last, according to a news release. They are valid statewide, and the credits can be redeemed using the code SAFECO24 in the Uber app beginning Christmas Day and running through New Year’s Day.

It’s a good time to make use of designated drivers or rideshare apps. Law enforcement agencies across the state are participating in “The Heat is on New Year’s Eve Weekend DUI enforcement period” from Dec. 26 through Jan. 2. Drivers could see saturation patrols, sobriety checkpoints and additional law enforcement officers out during that time, according to a news release.
“Before heading out to a bar or party this holiday, take a minute to make a plan. It could save your life. It could save a loved one’s life. Choose a sober ride every time,” said Col. Matthew C. Packard, chief of the Colorado State Patrol, in the news release.
