Urgent search for missing 7mo baby

Police are urgently seeking public assistance to help locate a seven-month-old baby believed to be missing in southeastern NSW.

River Tille was last sighted by authorities in the Warrawong area in December last year.

When the seven-month-old could not be located on Thursday, officers with the Lake Illawarra Police District started making inquiries as to his whereabouts.

NSW Police hold “serious concerns” for River’s wellbeing due to his age, according to a statement released late on Thursday.

The seven-month-old is described as being of caucasian appearance with a fair complexion and little fair hair. It is unknown what he is wearing.

Police believe he is with a 43-year-old woman of caucasian appearance with a fair complexion, thin build, approximately 165cm tall and with brown eyes.

The woman has dyed orange hair that is shaved on one side and long on the left.

Anyone with information about River’s whereabouts are urged to contact triple-0 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
