Wanted in Berks: January 5, 2025

The Berks County sheriff’s office is seeking the following fugitives:

Julio Jaime-Avendano

Julio Jaime-Avendano, 22, whose last known address was in the 700 block of Walnut Street, Lebanon, is wanted on charges of fleeing police, reckless driving and possessing marijuana.

Womelsdorf police said they saw Jaime-Avendano driving 107 mph on Nov. 8 and tried to stop him. He continued for about 1.5 miles until stopping. He refused police commands and was removed from his vehicle. Police searched his vehicle and found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Nov. 12.

He is described as 5 feet 9 inches and 200 pounds.

Suzann Gross

Suzann Gross, 31, whose last known address was in the 4100 block of 10th Avenue, Temple, is wanted on materially false written statement – purchase of firearms charges.

Central Berks Regional police said Gross lied on an application to buy a handgun on Feb. 18. Charges were filed Nov. 14.

She is described as 5 feet 9 inches and 185 pounds.
