Police have arrested a man after a woman’s body was found at a home in Sydney’s southwest.
The woman is aged in her 30s and is yet to be formally identified.
Police discovered the body at a house in the suburb of Belmore about 8am on Wednesday.
Police investigations led officers to a home in the suburb of Denham Court, 30km away, where a 35-year-old man was arrested.

In a statement, NSW Police said the man had been taken to Campbeltown Police Station and was co-operating with police.
Police were called about 7.50am to house on Knox St in Belmore “following a concern for welfare”, police said in the statement.
Campsie police found the woman dead at the home. Homicide detectives are investigating and a crime scene has been set up.
According to the Australian Femicide Map database, this woman is the 98th female killed by violence in this country this year.
